- After loading the second round for both the 10 and 12 round magazines, due to the poor design of the follower bottom from S&W, you will need to press down on the front of the bullet to prevent the sharp follower bottom from snagging on the magazine catch cutout. Then you will pull/press down on the loader to insert the third round. Hopefully, S&W will update their follower design in the future since others with/without a loader are having the same problem.
